Long-term travelers can have positive & negative affects on local economies especially when there is a socio-economic difference. We’re going to use this retreat to learn about sustainable travel practices, connect on a deeper level with Guatemala & give away holistic professional advice to local orgs & companies in Antigua.
In partnership with Selina, the international hotel brand, an Impact Retreat will be hosted in Antigua and Lake Atitlán, Guatemala. The retreat will be focused on three main pillars: learn, impact, and connect. Digital nomads on the retreat will learn about socially responsible travel, effective cross-cultural communication, the rich Guatemalan culture, positive culture exchange, storytelling & socio-economic compassion/dynamics.
